From 16th to 18th September 2024 was held the first edition of the International Summer School, organized jointly by the Polish Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing (PTFiT) and German Society for Photogrammetry, Remote Sensing, and Geoinformation (DGPF). The event took place at the Department of Geodesy and Offshore Survey at the Maritime University of Szczecin. Dr hab. inż. Grzegorz Jóźków oraz dr inż. Małgorzata Jarząbek-Rychard from the Institute of Geodesy and Geoinformatics were involved in preparing lectures and tutorials.
The program integrated theoretical and practical knowledge, focusing on four main areas:
- UAV Photogrammetry
- Laser Scanning (LiDAR)
- Bathymetry
- 3D Point Clouds processing
Among the participants were three doctoral students from IGiG mgr inż. Natalia Wielgocka, mgr inż. Adam Pałęcki i mgr inż. Maciej Lackowski, and this year’s graduate in Geodesy and Cartography, mgr inż. Karolina Stuchły. The workshops and projects conducted in international teams facilitated a dynamic exchange of ideas and created opportunities for networking, paving the way for future collaborations.
We congratulate successful conclusion of the Summer School and look forward to the next edition!
